Worship

In worship, First Lutheran Church (FLC) encourages participants to celebrate God’s greatness, to proclaim God’s love for all, and to confess our our failures and our need for God.

A nursery is provided as an option for infants and toddlers during FLC’s Sunday worship services, Holy Week services, and for Wednesday services during Advent and Lent.

Communion is offered every Sunday, and is always open to all who come seeking the presence of Christ.  A blessing is offered for young children. Gluten-free wafers are available upon request.

Classic, 8:45 am Sundays

FLC’s classic worship offers classical hymns led by a pipe organ with a semi-formal liturgy of readings and prayers.

Casual, 11:15 am Sundays

FLC’s casual worship offers contemporary songs led by a praise band blended with readings, prayers, and a basic liturgy.

Advent and Lent Wednesdays

On Wednesday evenings during Advent and Lent, FLC gathers for a light dinner and a time of worship and meditation.

Weddings, Baptisms, and Funerals
