Grow

FLC offers opportunities for spiritual growth and faith formation through prayer and Bible study.

Adult Sunday School

10:10 am (between services) and 12:30 pm (after the casual service)

The adult Sunday School group meets in the fellowship hall between services, around 10:10 am each week. Currently, adults are studying Reformation Roots, a series exploring the origins and growth of the Protestant movement beginning with the ministry of Martin Luther. Elementary age children may participate in their own Sunday School during this time, and a nursery is provided for toddlers and infants.

The same curriculum is offered again at 12:30 pm, after the casual worship service. Babysitting is provided.

Children’s Sunday School

FLC’s elementary students use Holy Moly, a curriculum from ELCA’s Augsburg Press. Children meet in the back of the fellowship hall between services (beginning around 10:10 am).

Youth Confirmation

FLC offers confirmation for middle-school teens as an opportunity to affirm their commitment to live by the teachings of Jesus, and to affirm their commitment to the FLC family. Contact the Director of Youth Ministries to discuss the commitments required by the confirmation process. Confirmation uses Colaborate, a curriculum from ELCA’s Augsburg Press, and meets between services (10:10am).

(Sunday School and Confirmation generally follow the BCSC school calendar, taking off the Sundays before and after breaks. They do not meet during the summer.)

SonRise

SonRise offers Bible study, worship, and fellowship opportunities for area residents with developmental challenges. SonRise meets on Monday evenings during the school year at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall (east end of bulding).

Adult Small Groups

FLC offers multiple adult small groups. Contact the church office for current information.
