In today’s readings, we are warned against greed, vanity, and other temptations that turn us from God. Christ says in Luke 12:15, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” So much that is bad in this world originates in greed…war, poverty, crime, inflation, hatred, envy….the list goes on. Find your peace in this world. Find your way from Greed to God.
