On Wednesday, September 2nd and Thursday September 3rd, First Lutheran will host a Red Cross Blood Drive in the Fellowship Hall.
On Wednesday, the hours of the drive will be from 1 to 6PM and on Thursday the hours will be from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Each donor will receive a special Red Cross t-shirt while supplies last. And for 1-20 September donors will receive a special Red Cross x Hello Kitty collectible item while supplies last.

God of new beginnings,
bless the students, teachers, and staff
as a new school year begins.
Give students curious minds, brave hearts,
and the quiet knowledge that they are loved
just as they are.
Give teachers patience, strength, and joy
in the good work they do.
And give the families who send them off
peace enough to let go,
trusting that you walk with our children
even where we cannot follow.
Walk with this whole community into the
year ahead.
Where there is fear, bring peace.
