Just as we start the church year with the promise and hope of the coming Savior, we end it with the promise of His return. Paul’s words this week’s Second Reading, Col 1:11-20, gives several descriptive names for Christ, like “the firstborn from the dead”. He has died. He is risen. He will come again. Hold fast to that promise this, and every, week.
