During this second week of Advent, we focus on preparing for the coming of the Lord. We hear of John the Baptist, the “voice of one crying out in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord”.

As we today prepare for the coming of Christmas by shopping for presents, baking cookies, writing cards, we should take time to reflect on the coming baby, the coming sacrifice. To prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of the Lord.
