In today’s First Reading and Gospel Lesson, we see two women, at Zarephath (1 Kings 17:8-16) and at the Temple treasury (Mark 12:38-44). Both are widows. Both are poor. Yet both have great faith and give all they have to God.
Compared to these two women, we all have so much. And yet, when all is said and done, do they have more? Only you can answer that question for yourself. Consider it well.
Go in Peace. Serve the Lord.
Thanks be to God!
