This week’s Gospel reading is a hard one to hear, talking about bringing division rather than peace, dividing households, families. Sometimes doing what is right is divisive. And sometimes talking, and listening, to other viewpoints is hard. But staying true to God’s way, staying true to our baptism in the Holy Spirit, we can, we must perservere.
