In this week’s Gospel, we hear the stories of Simeon and Anna and their encounters with the child Jesus in the temple in Jerusalem. We each encounter Christ in our own way and in our own time. May we each see with our hearts, not just our eyes, praising God and looking for the promise of things to come.
